About the role
As Solutions Architect at Queue-it, you will play a critical role in making a great impression on Queue-it’s prospective and new customers as they implement our best-in-class virtual waiting room. You will act as a technical expert by delivering engaging demos and onboarding new clients. Furthermore, you are a key contributor to our growth by providing technical recommendations to Queue-it’s customers.
You are expected to work proactively across teams, departments, and functions, constantly pushing for process and technical improvements. You understand how to manage projects, both internally and externally and know how to manage the change and relevant stakeholders.
You are knowledgeable in Solutions Architecture and will be directly involved with important customers and stakeholders. You are expected to identify and explain technology needs and break down complex problems. You’ll get to know their web application, architecture, and business issues so that you can provide ongoing technical recommendations and support, and take their feedback to the internal team so that we can continue perfecting our solution.
With your help in completing a successful integration of our virtual waiting room system, our customers' advanced tech setups will stay online for their most important and high-demand events.
You’ll work with amazing colleagues in Denmark, the US, and Australia, giving you opportunities to learn from (and teach new tricks to) innovative Solutions Architects, Designers, Developers, and Account Executives.
Responsibilities
- Guide, demo, and educate customers through technical recommendations during onboarding and ongoing operations
- Translate complex use cases and apply an in-depth understanding of various technology platforms and languages to prescribe and implement the best integration strategy
- Work with customers and external technology partners, as well as our full team to ensure successful delivery and integration of our product
- Partner with the Queue-it sales team to secure new business, assisting technical pre-sales activities and post-sales engagement and support
- Diagnose and address any issues related to implementing the system with various web technologies
- Proactively follow up on existing customers’ ongoing operations
- Handle tech support tickets from customers
- Help customers monitor their GOLIVE or Sales events
Qualifications
- You're fluent in English and Korean, and you enjoy connecting with colleagues around the world
- You’re excited about the opportunity to join the APAC team, with focus on growing our business in South Korea
- 5+ years experience of working with web application development or architecture
Skills and Competencies
You will bring:
- Experience with one of the programming language/frameworks (specifically, JavaScript and .NET, JAVA or PHP skills will be an advantage)
- Knowledge in cloud computing, serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions
- In-depth knowledge of high-performance website optimization techniques commonly used in eCommerce platforms and/or ticketing software, such as CDN, caching, load balancing, etc
- Ability to interface at all levels in an organization
- Great troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Project management skills and proficiency in handling multiple projects and customers simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in Korean (native) and English, both written and verbal (the company language is English)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
You may also bring (not mandatory):
- Experience with eCommerce platforms, such as SAP Hybris, Magento, Shopify etc. and/or ticketing technology
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect

About the office
FastFive Gangnam 5 Building, 27, Teheran-ro 2-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
We expanded into South Korea in April 2024, you'll be instrumental in growing our regional presence, working closely with one other colleague.
