About the role
As a Solutions Architect at Queue-it, you’ll be the technical expert helping customers implement our virtual waiting room solution. You’ll run demos, lead onboarding, and provide integration guidance, translating complex use cases into clear solutions. Working closely with sales, tech partners, and internal teams, you'll drive technical excellence and customer success—especially in Japan’s growing market.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Guides, demonstrates, and educates customers through technical recommendations during onboarding and ongoing operations
- Translates complex use cases and applies an in-depth understanding of various technology platforms and languages to prescribe and implement the best integration strategy
- Collaborates with customers, external technology partners, and our internal team to ensure successful delivery and integration of our product
- Partners with the Queue-it sales team to secure new business, assisting in technical pre-sales activities and post-sales engagement and support
- Diagnoses and addresses any issues related to implementing the system with various web technologies
- Proactively follows up on existing customers’ ongoing operations
- Handles tech support tickets from customers
- Helps customers monitor their GoLive or sales events
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Japanese (native) and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (company language is English)
- Excited to join the APAC team and help grow our business in Japan
- 5+ years of experience in web application development or architecture
- Proficient in at least one programming language/framework (JavaScript, .NET, Java, or PHP preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud and serverless computing technologies, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions
- Strong understanding of high-performance website optimization (e.g., CDN, caching, load balancing), particularly in eCommerce or ticketing environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Skilled at managing multiple projects and customers simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
You may also bring (but not mandatory):
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, such as SAP Hybris, Magento, Shopify etc. and/or ticketing technology
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
