About the role
As a Queue-it full-stack developer, you’ll join our autonomous team that focuses on Queue-it’s goal of online fairness for all.
Ticket scalpers, sneaker bots, etc. are making it an unfair game for a lot of regular people. They are buying up all inventory and reselling it at a higher price. You find their practice unethical and would like to see an end to this.
Therefore, you will actively go in and start initiatives together with your fellow teammates to mitigate these bad actors. This is a constant battle requiring the best of people and you are totally up for this challenge. To make the world a better place.
Responsibilities
- Build and release world-class software. Every day, you’ll put your coding skills to the test, maintaining and improving our industry platform
Collaborate for growth - Work with an empowered product team including developers, PM, and UX as well as the rest of the organization towards the mission of online fairness for all
- Ensure high-quality customer experience in daily operations. Your work will impact the world’s biggest brands and tens of billions of end-users
Qualifications
- Experience or more importantly interest in front-end development. We use Angular and our team is looking for someone who is eager to learn or has prior experience with Angular
- Experience in any programming language, preferably JavaScript/Typescript or C# .NET
- Good understanding of web technologies
- Interest in network security
- Cloud experience would be preferred. We use AWS
- Advanced in professional English (Danish not required)
We are looking for someone with:
- An academic degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or similar
Good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with designers, project Managers, and other developers - The ability to take ownership of issues/problems and make sure they are solved promptly
- Great understanding of user experience and can design and implement interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly
