About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be part of a product team working on bringing actionable traffic insights to Queue-it customers. We aim to increase fairness in the online world and assist our customers filter out unwanted traffic. You will develop data visualizations that highlight unusual traffic and ensure customers act on it.

Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable solutions: You design and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You work closely with the backend engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall business strategy.
• Code quality and best practices: You adhere to and enforce coding best practices, ensuring high-quality, readable, and maintainable codebase.
• Mentor junior developers: You provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior front-end engineers, building an environment of learning and growth.
• Optimize performance: You regularly analyze, identify, and address performance bottlenecks in front-end applications, ensuring optimal user experience.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with Angular 2+ and a solid understanding of the Angular framework, including its core concepts such as components, services, modules, directives, and reactive programming using RxJS. 
• 4+ years of frontend development experience is preferred
• TypeScript: A good grasp of the TypeScript language
• State Management: Familiarity with state management libraries such as NGXS or NgRx to manage the application state
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Highcharts, or Chart.js 
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma to write unit tests for the application.
• End-to-end testing: Familiarity with Cypress or similar end-to-end testing framework, to write automated tests for the application
• Experience with AWS or Azure is preferred.

We are looking for someone with:

• Good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with designers, project Managers, and other developers.
• The ability to take ownership of issues/problems and make sure they are solved promptly.
• Proven leadership skills to lead and mentor other developers in the department.
• Great understanding of user experience and can design and implement interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly.
